2024 National Cocktail Day Recipes

Not that we need a day to celebrate cocktails, but National Cocktail Day is Sunday, March 24. We've rounded up a collection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails to help your bar and restaurant guests raise a glass to what might be the best holiday ever invented.

 

Non-Alcoholic Cocktails

But, First

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Earthen

2 oz cold brew concentrate

.5 oz maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Shake hard and strain into a chilled coupe.

  2. Garnish with 3 espresso beans.

Lavender Blackberry Skinny Rita

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz. Premium Silver Tequila  

½ oz Monin® Sugar Free Lavender Syrup

½ oz. Monin® Sugar Free Blackberry Syrup

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

Directions:

  1. Fill serving glass full of ice.
  2. Pour ingredients into mixing glass with 2/3 ice in order listed.
  3. Cap, shake and strain into serving glass with ice.
  4. Add garnish and serve.

Peachy Mojito Mocktail

Ingredients: 

4 oz Peach-flavored sparkling water

4 oz Coconut water

½ oz. Fresh lime juice

2 tsp. Agave In The Raw

4 Peach slices

10 Mint leaves

Ice Cubes

1 Lime wedge

Directions:

  1. In a tall glass combine sparkling water, coconut water, lime juice, and agave.
  2. Stir well to combine.
  3. Add peach slices, mint, and ice to glass and stir again.
  4. Garnish with lime wedge.

 

Alcoholic Cocktails

Cardamom-Infused Old Fashioned 

Ingredients: 

For the cocktail: 

2 oz Fierce & Kind Straight Bourbon 

.25 oz Cardamom Syrup 

3 dashes Angostura bitters 

Garnish: flamed orange twist 

For the Cardamom syrup: 

1.5 cups water 

1 cup sugar 

7 cardamom pods 

1 orange, peeled 

Directions: 

For the Cardamom syrup:

  1. Toast the cardamom pods in a small pot until fragrant.
  2. Add water and the peels of the orange, then bring water to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, reduce heat and add sugar, stirring until fully dissolved.
  4. Turn off heat, remove the orange peels and let syrup cool before straining out the cardamom pods and storing syrup in the fridge before mixing with your cocktail! 

For the cocktail:

  1. Pour the cardamon syrup and bitters into a whiskey glass.
  2. Stir to combine, then pour the Fierce & Kind Straight Bourbon.
  3. Garnish with a flamed orange twist and enjoy!

Disaronno Fizz

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Disaronno Originale

Club Soda

Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions:

  1. Add Disaronno Originale into a white wine glass or spritz glass with ice.
  2. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Top with club soda and garnish with a lemon peel.

Skrewball Paloma

Ingredients: 

2 parts Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 

¾ part Tequila 

¼ part Aperol 

2 parts Grapefruit Juice 

Soda Water 

Lemon or Lime Wheel for garnish 

Directions:  

  1. Build ingredients over ice.
  2. Top with soda water.
  3. Garnish with lemon or lime wheel.

Mount Gay Orange Eclipse

Ingredients:

2 oz Eclipse

1 oz Blood Orange Juice

.6 oz Sweet Vermouth

4 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to shaker.
  2. Add ice, shake and strain into chilled coupe.
  3. Garnish with orange peel.
